FRUSTUM OF A CONE
1. Make a right circular cone by using cardboard or wood (with the help of a carpenter of given height say 15 or 20 cm and of any radius.
2. Cut off a small cone from the top of the original cone by a plane parallel to the base.
3. The remaining portion is called frustum of a cone
4. You can show the cut off cone placed over the top of frustum to explain the formation of frustum.
5. You can also show volume and surface area of frustum as working of the project.
For example Vfrustum = Vwhole cone – Vsmall cone cut off
